Red Kimono

I had another exhausting day.

First, had a busy morning at work. We were having problems with one of our products and the owner just won’t own up to the fact that our product doesn’t meet the standard specifications.

Then, had to take the afternoon off to go to an interview for another job. And, during the interview, the owner was texting me to see if I was able to buy the samples he wanted.

So, after the interview, I had to go to three supermarkets to look for said samples.  Good thing they were walking distance from each other.  I just hope that the samples I found are what the owner is looking for.

By the time I was done with my supermarket-hopping, I was dead-tired, hungry, and all stressed-out.  Luckily, told my father to meet me in one of the malls for dinner.  And, even luckier, that mall has a Japanese restaurant I haven’t tried before.

Red Kimono for dinner! 🙂

The food was good.  Service was a bit slow but, all in all, it was a good ending to a stressful day.

Question of the Day: What are you obsessed with right now?

For some odd reason I have been obsessed with maki for the past few months.

Whenever I am stressed out I crave for maki.  Whenever I am in the mood to binge out I crave for maki.  Whenever I just want to have a relaxing dinner I crave for maki.

I craved for maki last night so I dragged my father to Komodoro Soba in SM Megamall where they make fresh California Maki for you.  So, last night, I was a happy tummy.

However, when I told him that I wanted maki again today he told me that that’s all I know to eat.  So, we went to HK Choi this time.  It was good but they don’t have maki. 😦

So, yes, for now maki is definitely the one thing I am obsessed with.  And the only reason I can think of for this obsession is the simple fact that I cannot make it.  Yet. 🙂

Oh, by the way, the maki in the photo are some of the best maki I ever tasted.  Those were made by the Master at Sushi Masa (Aguirre st. BF Homes), a restaurant that I will definitely visit again no matter how far.

The past few weeks passed in a blur.  I am either home late or too tired to post anything at all.

But I feel that I still owe the foodies who follow me to post photos of my latest food adventures eventhough it is late.

Feast shared with a cousin.  This one is at Oki Oki, a Japanese restaurant.

Food truck park adventure! 🙂

Filipino feast with relatives at The Grill in Tagaytay. 🙂

A night at Aguirre st. And those are the best maki I ever tasted.

Best hand-pulled noodles ever!

Well, that’s about it. Enjoy!
